Deliver us from evie by me kerr5/24/2023 ![]() Hope she publishes another one this strong and compelling soon. ![]() Absolutely superb growth and maturity for all the characters. ![]() Kerr really did a great job on this book. But you have to read it to see how the many lives Evie affected were altered and how she encouraged people to understand everyone is different. Then the entire family became a wonderful supporting family to Evie regardless. I love how that migrated over time, first, the mom was anti-butch and the dad was good to go, then mom learned to accept and suddenly Dad was anti-butch and had to learn to accept. Her family was great and her parents were a superb contradiction toward the daughters butch ways. Evie was almost stereotypical butch and the world she was surrounded in was small-town stereotypical Boonie bible belt country. ![]() It was natural and funny at times and still held that little brother vibe in that he loved his sister, even though he could hate her at times. Parr's take on the world around him began to grow as he began to mature throughout this book. I super enjoyed this third party walk-about given from the viewpoint of Parr, the little brother of Evie. This was a really good audible, didnt unplug once. ![]()
